Judah and Tamar Trailer

Book One in the Judah and Tamar trilogy

I am very excited to have created my first ever book trailer for the Judah and Tamar story that Michael Silversher and I have written.

It’s amazing what one can do when one is inspired and compelled by an ancient story, as both of us were when we read the Biblical account of the Judah and Tamar story in Genesis 38.

Our story takes the original story and stretches it to include many ideas you might find controversial. Because the original text of the Judah and Tamar story does not fill out details about the characters and circumstances of their unusual sexual union (he is her father-in-law), we have done a great deal of research to bring Judah and Tamar vividly to life!

The first book in our trilogy is called Tamar of the Terebinths and takes place in Kn’n (the land of Canaan) around Hebrew Era circa 2,205 AM (Anno Mundi), which is somewhat equivalent to the Middle Bronze Age circa 1,668 BCE.

It is about deception within a major patriarchal family and how that deception rips the family apart and how the greatest love story never told brings them back together again.

Even though it is an old old story, the elements of human drama that Judah and Tamar were part of are never old. Families experience deception and many kinds of experiences that rip them apart.

The good news is that deception can sometimes lead to the very things that bring that family back together again, which is what happens with Judah and Tamar.

That is one of the major reasons why we know that you will enjoy our rendition of the Judah and Tamar story, as told in a trilogy form, called Song of the Terebinths.
